Hymn Preludes, No. 4

 

A meditative supplication, this peaceful arrangement sets the first verse in a simple four-voice texture; unison voices sing the remaining two verses. Beautiful harmonies and a delicate countermelody in the accompaniment support the two unison verses. Two different texts are included, making this piece a versatile addition to any sacred collection.
