This gentle setting is meant to reflect the sincere, prayerful sentiments of the text. The first two verses are sung in unison (first by the women, then by the men) followed by the third verse in a simple four-part harmony. The arrangement is kept intentionally simple so as to be readily accessible and competently performed by choirs of any size.
